Download / Install
Head over to downloads and grab the latest release of StreamShuttle.
Before installing make sure the following dependencies are also installed. Then proceed to install StreamShuttle.
Windows
You will probably need to install the "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable"
- Object detection will not work without this. If the latest redistributable is not installed you can download and install it from the following links. Direct download | Visit Microsoft to learn more and download
Allow network access
- After StreamShuttle is installed it will automatically start up. At this point you will be prompted by the windows firewall to allow network access. The simplest thing to do is to ensure StreamShuttle access to both "Private" & "Public" networks. The default firewall rule options it gives you depends on how you have configured your computers network connection. Which normally would be fine. However if you will be utilizing the WireGuard (VPN) the network interface it may be setup as a different "Profile" than the current network configuration. If you run into issues with not being able to access the "VPN Access URL" after configurations, make sure the StreamShuttle is allowed through the firewall for both "Public" and "Private" networks. You can easily add / remove these firewall rules by jumping to the "Service Actions" section of the StreamShuttle control panel and click the "Add Firewall Rules" or "Remove Firewall Rules" buttons.
Linux
- Ffmpeg and ImageMagick are not bundled with StreamShuttle so you can usually just utilize your package managers default version.
- The static builds for ffmpeg at https://github.com/BtbN/FFmpeg-Builds also work well.
- Checkout System Requirements to find out about any other Linux specific dependencies that may be required.
