Montage

This area gives you a birds eye view of all the devices throughout your system. You can free form configure this view however you want.

After entering edit mode, you can re-arrange and resize each device block based on what works best for you. You can save and load as many layouts you want. This allows you to create a layout for specific devices or by groups of devices. For example maybe be you want a layout which only displays devices at a specific location or on a specific floor.

Load LayoutBrings up window to load a previously saved layout (can also set a "default layout" from here. The default layout will be used whenever you open the montage view)
Edit LayoutAllows you to rearrange the layout however you would like.
Edit Layout -> Filter DevicesAllows you to select which devices should be displayed in the layout.
Edit Layout -> Reset LayoutResets the layout evenly using "Devices per row" as the number of columns.
Edit Layout -> Add SpacerAdds a spacer which can be used to help organize items in the layout.
Edit Layout -> Constrain GridShould we allow the layout grid to expand to the full width of the monitor? This is useful if you have dedicated screen to view the layout.
Edit Layout -> Save LayoutBrings up window to save the layout. Enter a name for the layout and hit "save", to save as a new layout or click "Update" on a previously saved layout to replace it.

Device block in layout

A device block is a block in the layout that represents a device.

There is an "action bar" across the bottom of the device block.

  • The first icon will bring you to that devices "Live View".
  • The second icon (rabbit / turtle) indicates the current "quality" of this device block.

When in "Edit Mode"

  • Drag the device block around to re-arrange the layout.
  • You can drag the bottom right corner of the device block to resize it.
  • Click the X in the top left corner to remove the device from the layout.
