Montage View
This area gives you a bird's-eye view of selected devices throughout your system. Use "Edit Layout" to choose and arrange devices, or "Load Layout" to switch to a saved layout.

After entering edit mode, you can rearrange and resize each device block. The grid and resize handles show where blocks can be placed and adjusted. You can save and load as many layouts as you want, allowing you to create layouts for specific devices or groups of devices. For example, you might want a layout that displays only devices at a specific location or on a specific floor.

Open "Load Layout" to load a saved layout, make it the default, or delete it.

Use "Save Layout" to name the current arrangement or update an existing saved layout.

| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Load Layout | Opens a window for loading a previously saved layout. You can also set a default layout here. The default is used whenever you open the montage view. |
| Edit Layout | Allows you to rearrange the layout however you would like. |
| Edit Layout: Filter Devices | Select which devices to display in the layout. |
| Edit Layout: Reset Layout | Reset the layout evenly, using "Devices per Row" as the number of columns. |
| Edit Layout: Add Spacer | Add a spacer to help organize items in the layout. |
| Edit Layout: Constrain Grid | Allow the layout grid to expand to the full width of the monitor. This is useful if you have a dedicated screen for the layout. |
| Edit Layout: Save Layout | Open a window to save the layout. Enter a name and click "Save" to create a layout, or click "Update" on a previously saved layout to replace it. |
Device Blocks in a Layout
A device block is a block in the layout that represents a device.
An action bar runs across the bottom of the device block.
- The first icon takes you to that device's "Live View."
- The second icon (rabbit or turtle) indicates the current quality of the device block.
In edit mode:
- Drag a device block to rearrange the layout.
- Drag the bottom-right corner of a device block to resize it.
- Click the X in the top-left corner to remove a device from the layout.
